Serious student

The Fund annually awards one scholarship (currently $200) to a college-bound student from each of the five high schools located within the First Middlesex District as defined in 2010, namely

An eligible scholarship applicant is a member of the senior class in good standing who has applied for admission to an accredited four-year or two-year institution of higher learning, such as a college, university, community college or technical school.

Print and complete the application. Provide it to the high school Principal by the deadline given on the application.

The high school Principal and/or his/her designee(s) decide which applicant shall receive the scholarship.

The Fund releases scholarship proceeds after the recipient completes his / her first semester of higher education. The recipient provides evidence of completion, such as a record of grades or a letter from the institution.

The Fund disburses the scholarship proceeds directly to the institution or the institution's book store for benefit of the scholarship recipient.
