Service to Groton
Bob has spent the majority of his adult life on Temple Drive in Groton with Ellen, his wife of 49 years. Bob and Ellen raised their three children here in Groton. Their daughters attended Groton public schools for 12 years, both graduating from Groton-Dunstable Regional High School. Their son shared his first eight years of schooling between Groton Country Day School and the Groton public schools and completed his secondary education at Lawrence Academy.
Bob has served the Town of Groton in numerous capacities, including:
- Teacher of Mathematics, Groton High School
- Adult Education Teacher, Groton High School
- Nashoba Tech Planning Committee
- Nashoba Tech School Committee
- Groton Town Moderator
- Groton Selectman
- Groton Growth Advisory Committee
- Groton Personnel Board
- Groton Commission on the Handicapped
- Representative in the General Court
- Groton Finance Committee
